Tragedy sometimes births amazing creations. In 2019 when, Keith Flint, the singer of the Prodigy passed away Churv, the guitarist of QLD band Sin Soto, was so moved by the loss he decided to turn his pain into music. He began working on a Prodigy tribute set. He rapidly lay the foundations of the set creating the music for his dream Prodigy show. However, as fate would have it the success of his original band began to escalate, leaving him time short to complete the project.

 

Four years late Churv found himself in a conversation with Piston Fist singer, Geoffro O'Leary. They realised that they both had a deep love for The Prodigy. Churv mentioned that he had created the groundwork for a Prodigy tribute set and that all he was looking for was a person to sing for Keith and how he wanted a Drummer to play the set live. The two immediately began working on the vocal delivery of the set.

 

It wasn't long before the news of the tribute reached Ronnie, Sin Sotos drummer, who immediately asked to join the project completing the lineup. From this point the was no stopping the band of upstarts.

The Firestarters play all the bangers and a few rare tracks for the hardcore fans. This set is close to the real thing as you can get. The Firestarters are currently taking bookings for Europe after a string of dates through Australia.
